Description
This storybook art print — a rabbit in a smart blue coat holding out a gold pocket watch, checking the time with real urgency — is made to order in the USA as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), a natural fit for nurseries, kids rooms and cottagecore interiors.
It's an original illustration inspired by the classic public domain character rather than a reproduction of anyone's specific artwork, and a distinctly different scene from the tea party version elsewhere in the collection.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
Where does the pocket watch detail come from? Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland introduces the White Rabbit checking a pocket watch and muttering about being late, one of the character's most recognizable traits, now in the public domain and reimagined countless times since.
