This Cheshire cat art print is available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA — a bold statement piece for kids' rooms, nurseries, and any Wonderland fan. A wide grinning cat is dressed in a top hat and bow tie, mischief written across every feature.

Whimsical rather than menacing, it reads closer to a charming trickster than anything frightening. The bright grin against a dark ground holds its charm for years, so it stays a fun, distinctive piece year round.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Where does the Cheshire Cat's grin come from? Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland introduced a cat that could fade until only its grin remained. The character is now in the public domain and has been reimagined countless times since.

What materials are your art prints available in?

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.

Are your art prints suitable for outdoor use?

Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.

How do I clean my metal art print?

Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

Do your art prints come framed?

Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.

Should I choose a metal print or a paper print?

Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.

What size art print should I buy?

Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
