Description
This art print — a black raven perched on a Christmas tree branch, string lights blurring warm behind him while the rest of the frame falls into dark — comes as luminous aluminum metal (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, and appeals to corvid lovers and dark cottagecore decorators alike. No berries, no hat, no joke; just the bird and the glow.
The soft light against deep black holds its contrast for years, so it stays a strong piece once the tree is packed away.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
Why do ravens appear in gothic art so often? Their association with omen and memory runs from Norse mythology through to Poe, and the solid black silhouette reads cleanly against almost any background, which makes them a favourite subject for moody work.
