Description
Printed as an aluminum metal piece (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper (4x6 to 24x30 in) and made to order in the USA, this antique-style print of a glossy black bird on a branch heavy with red berries, the whole scene lit from behind in gold, suits warm-toned rooms that still want something moody. The warmth is what separates it from the usual moody corvid print.
The golden ground and deep feather blacks keep their richness for years, so it works as autumn and winter art both.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
What do red berries mean in winter imagery? Holly and similar berrying evergreens were brought indoors at midwinter across Europe as a sign that life continued through the dark months, which is how they became fixed in Christmas and Yule decoration.
