This art print crops in tight on a face resting just beneath the water's surface among floating lily pads, eyes closed — the closest crop in the collection's water portrait series, treating the moment as a portrait rather than a scene. Available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, it works well in dark academia studies, small accent walls, and gallery groupings, and makes a fitting gift for literature and fine art collectors.

The pale skin against dark water and green lily pads holds its serenity for years.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why crop so tightly on the face for this version? Removing the body and the wider scene shifts the focus entirely onto expression, closer to a death mask or a portrait study than a narrative illustration, which is the effect this piece is going for.

What materials are your art prints available in?

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.

Are your art prints suitable for outdoor use?

Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.

How do I clean my metal art print?

Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

Do your art prints come framed?

Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.

Should I choose a metal print or a paper print?

Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.

What size art print should I buy?

Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
