Description
This gothic Christmas art print is made to order in the USA on aluminum metal (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper (4x6 to 24x30 in) — a striking pick for mantels and entryways, folklore collectors, and anyone tired of the usual seasonal art. Santa and Krampus stand side by side in the snow, one in red robes with a lantern, one in black with horns and a staff, a full moon behind them both — the version of the legend that existed long before the story got tidied up.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
What is the story of Santa and Krampus? In Alpine tradition they work the same night. St. Nicholas brings gifts to children who earned them and Krampus deals with the rest, which is why older European Christmas imagery shows the two together rather than apart.

Frequently Asked Questions
Beautiful metal print. Seller is very responsive. There was an issue with the print that was immediately addressed.
I look forward to purchasing more art from this seller.
Excellent quality and arrived in a timely fashion. Would buy from Seller again.
I hate to leave a bad review. Unfortunately this print arrived and was very disappointing. The image quality is poor, the image is cut off at the top so that only half of the moon is visible, and it looks like an AI image because santa's hands don't make any sense, and the "brushmarks" look to be either bad photoshop or AI as well. The image itself is a cool idea and I was really looking forward to displaying this over the holiday. I have now requested a refund, hopefully the seller will oblige.
This image came quickly and is now a prominent focal point of my holiday decor. Love love love it!
