Description

Sized for large walls that need one commanding piece, this oil-painting-style print of the Alpine Christmas devil above a sleeping village — horns sweeping into the night sky, red eyes burning over snow-covered cottages — is made to order in the USA as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in). A single cloaked figure stands far below, which is what gives the piece its scale and its unease.

The moonlit blues and ember reds keep their depth for years, so it holds the wall well beyond the season.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why is Krampus part of Christmas? Krampus comes from Alpine folk tradition as the counterpart to St. Nicholas. Where St. Nicholas rewards, Krampus handles everyone else, and the two have travelled together in European midwinter custom for centuries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.
Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.
Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.
Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.
Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.

Loved this item. Exactly as described and I was very satisfied with the quality. Would absolutely order from this seller again. I did not rate customer service as it did not apply. My order came on time and was exactly what I ordered.
