Description

A fitting choice for home libraries, dark academia studies, and cozy-horror fans who'd rather their ghosts read than haunt, this art print is made to order in the USA as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in).

It settles a ghost into a chair, quietly reading as warm window light spills across the bookshelves around him — cozy rather than frightening, closer to a well-loved regular than an intruder. The warm glow holds its coziness against the dim shelves for years.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why do ghost stories so often settle into libraries and old houses? Libraries carry the accumulated weight of long use, which makes them a natural setting for stories about things that linger. A ghost who reads rather than haunts plays with that expectation rather than fulfilling it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.
Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.
Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.
Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.
Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
