Description
A close still life of four ornate glass baubles hanging from a single branch, greenery and red berries filling the gaps between them, this print is available as aluminum metal (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA — well suited to small accent walls, gallery groupings and farmhouse interiors. No tree, no room, just the ornaments themselves treated as the subject.
The rich reds and golds against dark greenery hold their shine for years, so it works as a close still life on any wall.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
When did glass Christmas ornaments become common? Glass baubles originated in Lauscha, Germany in the 1840s and reached mass popularity in the United States after Woolworth's began importing them in the 1880s, replacing homemade fruit and popcorn decorations.
