Description
This mahjong mug reads “Tears of the people I beat at mahjong” on both sides. Pick 11 oz, 11 oz with a black handle, or 15 oz glossy white ceramic. It is dishwasher and microwave safe and sublimation printed to order in our Henniker, New Hampshire studio. One of the easiest mah jongg gifts for the friend who plays sweet and wins anyway.
Is this a good gift for a weekly mahjong group? Yes. It works as a hostess gift, a table prize, or a thank-you for whoever keeps the weekly game going. For a mug for every player at the table, email us.
About the Design
The quote is set in heavy black type with a worn, distressed texture, with a single mahjong tile between two short rules. It is a dry joke for the players who arrive with snacks and leave with everyone’s points. Fun fact: mahjong took shape in China in the 1800s, and American mah jongg players still learn a new card of winning hands every year.
