Description
This board game mug reads “Tears of the people I beat at board games” on both sides. Choose 11 oz, 11 oz with a black handle, or 15 oz glossy white ceramic. It is dishwasher and microwave safe and sublimation printed to order in our Henniker, New Hampshire studio. A gift for board game lovers who smile sweetly and win by round three.
Is it a good white elephant gift for a game group? Yes. It is cheap enough for a gift exchange limit, it gets a laugh when it is opened, and whoever takes it home will actually use it at the next game night.
About the Design
The quote is set in heavy black type with a worn, distressed texture, with a single meeple between two short rules. It is for the strategist who reads the rulebook twice and still says it is just for fun. Fun fact: the word meeple, for the little wooden player pieces, is usually traced to a game night in 2000 and comes from the phrase “my people.”
