Description

This Snallygaster warning sign brings a lesser-known slice of Maryland cryptid lore to garages, porches, and cabins, printed directly on heavy gauge aluminum for a bold design that resists fading and rust outdoors. It's a conversation-starting piece for anyone who loves obscure cryptid legends. Fun fact: the Snallygaster panic peaked in 1909, when Maryland and Pennsylvania newspapers ran a wave of sensational "sightings" many historians now believe were press hoaxes meant to sell papers.

It's a great gift for folklore fans and cryptid collectors looking for something different, built with real outdoor durability instead of a flimsy sign that fades in a season. Every sign is made to order and custom-imprinted in our Henniker, New Hampshire studio.

Does this sign come with mounting holes? Yes – every size ships with or without pre-drilled mounting holes on the shorter ends, your choice at checkout.

Is this sign safe to hang outdoors? Yes, it's rustproof, UV-protected aluminum built to handle sun, rain, and snow for years without fading.
