Description

This bird feeder mug has a wooden platform feeder full of backyard birds on one side and the typewriter quote on the other: One day you’re young and cool… and the next you’re excited about a new bird feeder. Choose 11 oz, 11 oz with a black handle, or 15 oz white ceramic, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Is it a good 40th, 50th or 60th birthday gift? Yes. It is a gentle getting older joke that lands best with someone who really does check the feeder every morning, and it is printed to order in our Henniker, New Hampshire studio.

About the Design

One side keeps it simple, with the quote in a clean typewriter font split by a tiny pair of binoculars. The other side is a detailed painting of a cardinal, blue jay, goldfinch, chickadee and nuthatch around a green-roofed wooden feeder scattered with seed. Fun fact: the white-breasted nuthatch can climb headfirst down a tree trunk, something few other North American birds can do.
