Description
This gothic floral print gathers roses and lilies into a full, colorful bouquet set against a dark ground rather than a bright one — available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, at home in dining rooms, formal spaces and dark academia interiors.
No eyes, no strange details, just familiar flowers rendered in an unexpectedly moody register.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
What makes a floral painting read as gothic rather than traditional? A dark background alone does most of the work. The same bouquet against white reads as cheerful and ordinary, while the identical arrangement against black immediately feels more serious and dramatic.
