This Highly Trained Banshee warning sign shows a black silhouette of a banshee with long flowing hair and reaching arms under a red WARNING oval, with the fine print “Not Responsible for Impending Doom.” It’s printed directly on rust proof aluminum for a porch, gate, or study wall.

What is a banshee? In Irish folklore, a banshee, from the Irish bean sí or “woman of the fairy mound,” is a female spirit whose keening wail warns a family that a death is near. That’s the impending doom this sign is joking about.

Is it only for Halloween? No. Because the banshee comes from Irish legend, it’s just as fitting on a pub style game room wall in March or in a library of Celtic myths all year as it is on a Halloween porch.
