Description

This fairy tale print shows the full figure of Red Riding Hood, a weathered oil painting texture giving the scene a worn, timeworn feel — available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, a strong choice for dark academia offices and any collector of reworked folklore.

She stands beside a dark wolf, hood resting back on her shoulders, both of them facing forward as equals rather than predator and prey.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why do modern retellings often show Red Riding Hood as the wolf's equal rather than his victim? Contemporary fairy tale art frequently reworks the original power dynamic, treating the girl as capable rather than helpless, which changes the entire mood of a story most people already know by heart.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.
Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.
Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.
Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.
Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
