This Mothman art print is available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA — a natural pick for cryptid collectors, gothic and dark academia interiors, and horror or legend enthusiasts.

The winged cryptid stands alone in a dense misty forest, red eyes glowing, no bride or wedding scene to soften it — the straightforward, unadorned version of the legend, closer to a genuine sighting account than the wedding piece. Those glowing red eyes against the dark mist hold their unease for years.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why does Point Pleasant remain associated with the Mothman legend specifically? The town leaned into it, building a museum and an annual festival around the 1966 sightings, which has kept the specific location tied to the creature far more than most cryptid legends manage.

What materials are your art prints available in?

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.

Are your art prints suitable for outdoor use?

Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.

How do I clean my metal art print?

Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

Do your art prints come framed?

Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.

Should I choose a metal print or a paper print?

Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.

What size art print should I buy?

Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
