Description

This funny cardinal squirrel metal sign brings backyard humor to any birdwatcher's collection. A determined squirrel disguises itself in a cardinal costume, clutching a hand-lettered “Feed the Birds” sign, while the sly caption “Nice Try, Squirrel” gives the joke away. It’s playful cardinal decor with a wink for anyone who loves birds, squirrels, or a good laugh.

Printed directly on premium aluminum with a fade-resistant UV coating, this vintage-inspired sign holds up to sun and rain for years of daily display. It’s an easy gift pick for bird lovers, cardinal fans, and anyone tired of losing the feeder battle to backyard squirrels.

Design Details

A vintage-inspired illustration featuring a cardinal-costumed squirrel and a hand-lettered protest sign, finished with rounded corners and vibrant, long-lasting color.

Materials & Construction

Made from lightweight, rustproof aluminum with a glossy UV-protective finish that resists fading, chipping, and cracking outdoors. Corners are slightly rounded, and a smooth printed surface (not a sticker or decal) keeps the artwork crisp for years, indoors or out.

Sizes & Display

Available in 9" × 12", 12" × 18", and 16" × 24", all in vertical orientation. Choose your sign with pre-drilled mounting holes or with no holes, depending on how you plan to display it.

Perfect For

Bird rooms, porches, patios, cabins, she sheds, and garages — a favorite for birthdays, housewarming gifts, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, and anyone who refills the feeder more than the birds do.

Made With Care

Every Designs by Linda Nee sign is made to order, and each one is treated with the same care and attention from design to shipping. Looking for something custom? Email us and we’ll be happy to help create something special just for you.
