Description
A Florida shorebird, mid worm, doing exactly what the proverb says and making it look considerably less dignified than the proverb implies. Nothing staged. This 5 × 7 blank greeting card carries the quote on the front in vintage type, so the joke lands before anyone opens it.
The photograph is Linda Nee's own, taken on the Florida coast with patience and good timing rather than setup. It's an easy pick as a funny congratulations or new-job card for birders and early risers alike, blank inside on Red River Linen cardstock with a coordinating envelope.
