Description

This grim reaper art print is available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA — a striking pick for dark academia offices, memento mori decorating, and horror or folklore art collectors. A robed skeleton figure holds a bouquet of red roses, dark and dimly lit rather than cartoonish.

Genuinely striking rather than a Halloween prop, it reads closer to memento mori than horror. The deep red roses against bone white and black robes hold their contrast for years, so it works as gothic art all year round.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why pair death imagery with flowers rather than leaving it stark? The contrast is the whole tradition. Memento mori art has paired mortality symbols with beauty for centuries specifically because the tension between the two says more than either image would alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.
Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.
Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.
Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.
Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
