This old-world Santa print seats Father Christmas in a worn armchair while snow comes down behind him, red suit deep and warm against the cold light — available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, fitting for mantels, entryways and dark academia interiors that lean traditional.

Painted rather than cartooned, it comes back out looking the same every December.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Where does the red suit come from? Red and white Santa imagery predates the famous 1930s advertising by decades, appearing in Thomas Nast's illustrations from the 1860s onward. The ads made it universal rather than inventing it.

What materials are your art prints available in?

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.

Are your art prints suitable for outdoor use?

Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.

How do I clean my metal art print?

Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

Do your art prints come framed?

Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.

Should I choose a metal print or a paper print?

Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.

What size art print should I buy?

Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.
