Description
This whippet warning sign is for the dog that goes from couch to fence line before the gate latch clicks. The lean whippet silhouette and the line “I can make it to the fence in 2.6 seconds. Can you?” are fair warning to anyone who leaves the gate open, since a whippet only needs a second.
Which size reads best on a backyard gate? On a standard gate, the 12×18 inch rectangle is easy to read from the sidewalk. The 9×12 suits a narrow picket gate, and the squares fit a fence post or back door.

Whippets are sighthounds built for short bursts of speed, often clocked around 35 miles per hour. Hang this on a dog run, a side gate or the back door, or give it as a whippet gift to a friend who spends weekends at lure coursing or the dog park.
