Description
This storybook fairy print rests a winter fairy in a red dress on a holly branch, wings folded, berries gathered beside her and snow settling on the leaves — made to order in the USA as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), built to last in a child's room or any cottagecore-leaning interior.
Storybook in the older sense, it reads closer to illustration than cartoon.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
Where does holly come from in winter tradition? Holly was brought indoors long before Christmas, in Roman Saturnalia and in Celtic midwinter practice, because it stays green and berries when everything else has died back. The church adopted it rather than inventing it.
