This dark academia art print seats a woman at her desk reading by candlelight, a raven perched calmly on her shoulder like an old, familiar companion. Available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA, it suits home libraries and dark academia studies, and makes a fitting gift for corvid lovers and Poe readers alike.

It's a fuller scene than a simple candlelit portrait, with the raven doing quiet narrative work — the warm glow against dark feathers and bookshelves holding its atmosphere for years.

Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.

Why pair a reading woman with a raven rather than a cat? Ravens carry a stronger literary association, largely through Poe, which makes the pairing read as a nod to gothic literature specifically rather than simply suggesting a quiet, solitary household.

What materials are your art prints available in?

Our fine art prints are available as Aluminum Metal Prints or Archival Photo Paper Prints, depending on the design and your preferred style.

Are your art prints suitable for outdoor use?

Our aluminum metal prints are waterproof, weatherproof, and scratch-resistant, making them a great choice for spaces exposed to moisture or sun. Our archival paper prints are intended for indoor display.

How do I clean my metal art print?

Aluminum metal prints are easy to clean with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth.

Do your art prints come framed?

Metal prints arrive ready to hang with Command Strips included. Archival paper prints are delivered unframed so you can choose your own frame and display style.

Should I choose a metal print or a paper print?

Choose an aluminum metal print if it will hang outdoors or in a humid space like a bathroom — it's waterproof and scratch-resistant. Choose archival photo paper if it's for indoor display only; paper prints offer a more traditional, matte finish perfect for framing.

What size art print should I buy?

Smaller prints (4x6 in to 8x10 in) work well for shelves, desks, or gallery walls, while 16x20 in and larger make a strong statement piece over a sofa, bed, or fireplace. Most designs are available in both square and rectangular sizes.

Her photos are so beautiful! This one definitely did not disappoint.

Just trying different ways to get a hold of you. All I keep getting, 400 Bad Request. I'm sure that's my fault and not yours. I'm Bipolar so things are difficult for me
