Description
Suited to minimal, elegant gothic interiors and dark academia studies, this gothic still life art print is available as an aluminum metal print (4x6 to 20x30 in) or archival fine art paper print (4x6 to 24x30 in), made to order in the USA.
It crops down to a lace-gloved hand holding a single dark rose against deep shadow, nothing else in the frame — about as reduced as gothic still life gets, and stronger for the restraint. The dark rose holds its contrast against the pale lace for years.
Does this print come framed? No. Every print ships unframed. Frames and styling shown in the photos are for display only and are not included.
What does a black rose symbolize? Black roses do not occur naturally and are typically dyed or deeply pigmented dark red varieties, symbolically read as farewell, mourning, or the end of something, in contrast to red roses which signal the opposite.

I love the darkness and it is part of a series I am working on for a wall in my living room.
