Description

Licensed to investigate Lake Erie’s most famous mystery

If you’ve ever scanned the surface of Lake Erie and sworn you saw more than a wave, this Bessie Lake Monster Permit Card gives you official-ish authorization to investigate suspicious ripples, unexplained splashes, and serpentine silhouettes. It’s the perfect mix of cryptid lore, lake-life humor, and “Don’t worry, I’m licensed to do this” confidence.

Printed on a premium metal wallet card, this permit feels solid, durable, and intentionally not like a flimsy plastic novelty. It makes a great gift for cryptid fans, lake house owners, boaters, fishermen, and anyone who enjoys a good monster mystery with a sense of humor.

Yes! Our metal signs are designed to withstand outdoor elements and feature a UV protective coating, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor display for years to come.
Most of our signs are available with pre-drilled mounting holes for easy hanging. If you'd prefer no holes, we offer that option as well – just select it when ordering.
Metal signs can be cleaned easily with a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth to keep the print looking bright and clear.
In many cases, yes! If your specific vehicle, pet breed, or detail isn't listed, choose the closest matching sign. If the product page has a customization field above the "Add to Cart" button, enter your details there and we'll personalize it for you. If there's no customization field on that listing, email us with your details and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your request.
For most walls, a 9x12 in or 12x18 in sign works well as a focal point, while 16x24 in and larger suit bigger walls or garage doors. Smaller 6x6 in or 8x8 in sizes are popular for mailboxes, gates, or gift-sized pieces — check the size chart on each listing for exact placement guidance.
With their UV-protective coating and rustproof aluminum construction, our signs are built to stay vibrant outdoors for years through sun, rain, and snow without fading, cracking, or rusting.
