For the people whose pets live in tanks, terrariums, and carefully monitored water systems, and whose home decor should reflect that with the same level of dedication. This is the full exotic pet and aquarium collection in one place, spanning novelty metal warning signs, art prints, linen greeting cards, and compact mirrors, all featuring original creature artwork exclusive to Designs by Linda Nee.

A highly trained plecostomus with full property protection responsibilities. A betta fish with an official warning label. A cichlid with documented threat potential. A yellow tang with a distressed vintage sign to match its personality.

A dark academia capybara reading by candlelight in a gilded frame. A whimsical axolotl with a book, roses, and a candle, because some creatures simply belong in a library setting. A crowned pufferfish rendered as a serious oil painting in a gold baroque frame. A jumping spider surrounded by florals, looking directly at you, completely unbothered.

All exotic pet and aquarium products are designed in our Henniker, New Hampshire studio and made in the USA. Every piece carries original artwork exclusive to Designs by Linda Nee. Metal signs are printed directly onto heavy gauge rust-proof aluminum using UV resistant ink, with no decals and no vinyl, and arrive with pre-drilled mounting holes ready to hang. Art prints are available on archival fine art paper or aluminum metal, printed to order in multiple sizes. Greeting cards are printed on premium Red River linen cardstock with archival-safe inks. Compact mirrors are precision-sublimated with permanent studio artwork.

Creatures across this collection include betta fish, cichlids, plecostomus, yellow tang, minnows, gerbils, axolotls, capybaras, crowned pufferfish, jumping spiders, stag beetles, Hercules beetles, and more. The aesthetic ranges from novelty humor warning signs to whimsical dark academia illustration to gothic botanical fine art, all united by a genuine appreciation for the creatures most people walk past without a second look.

Strong starting points include the Betta Fish Warning Metal Sign, the Whimsical Axolotl Art Print, the Bibliophile Axolotl Art Print, the Reading Capybara Compact Mirror, and the Crowned Pufferfish Greeting Card.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of exotic pet and aquarium products are in this collection?
This collection includes novelty metal warning signs, art prints on archival paper or aluminum metal, linen greeting cards on premium Red River cardstock, and compact mirrors. All feature original exotic pet and aquarium creature artwork exclusive to Designs by Linda Nee, made in the USA in our Henniker NH studio.

Are the exotic pet warning signs real warnings or novelty humor signs?
Every metal sign in this collection is a novelty humor sign, not an actual regulatory warning. They are designed to look amusingly official while celebrating the specific exotic pet or aquarium creature featured. No actual threat from your betta fish is implied, though we cannot speak to the plecostomus.

Are the art prints available on metal or paper?
Yes. All art prints in this collection are available on archival fine art paper or aluminum metal, printed to order in our Henniker NH studio. Paper prints use fade-resistant archival-safe inks. Metal prints are printed directly onto rust-proof aluminum with UV resistant ink and no decals or vinyl.

Do you carry exotic pet and aquarium products beyond metal signs?
Yes. This collection includes art prints, linen greeting cards, and compact mirrors alongside the novelty metal signs. Creatures span aquarium fish, exotic small pets, insects, and whimsical creature art. New designs are added regularly and all artwork is exclusive to Designs by Linda Nee, made in the USA.
